Shay Newman, aka DJ Fusion is an award-winning, Violator All-Star DJ whose talent on the turntables and truly remarkable mixing skills have earned him the reputation as one of the top, club-packing deejays in the world. Fusion's mixes have been heard internationally on Sirius XM Radio along with several terrestrial stations nationally. His experience, talent and artist relationships provide him with access to the newest and most music (both local and international) of any deejay coast-to-coast.

Fusion first took to the turntables in 1999 before spending some time performing and honing his music-mixing skills throughout the midwest. From 2001-2004, Fusion based his operations out of Denver and Fort Collins, CO, performing several hotspots throughout both metro areas developing his craft into something truly special. In 2004, he headed back to the midwest settling in Madison, WI and formed SpeakerBoxx DJz which he soon developed into the leading mobile deejay service in central and southern Wisconsin.

Today, SpeakerBoxx DJz boasts a roster of the most respected deejays in the Midwest, with track records of professionalism and filling venues. In addition to performing and getting people on the dance floors, SpeakerBoxx DJz has been fortunate enough to give back to the community in Madison, WI by sponsoring and hosting after-school music programs for secondary school students. These programs have introduced local youth to the fundamentals of music production, production software, composition, performing with turntables, and much more.

DJ Fusion is also a resident DJ for Extreme Foam Parties, regular host of weekly mix shows on 93.1 JAMZ (WJQM) and 95.9 KISS FM (WKSZ), in addition to his regular appearances on SHADE 45 / G-Unit Radio - Big Sundays with Miss Mimi.
